Pay and recognition
We know pay matters. We review rates annually, and eligible employees receive KiwiSaver contributions. We also recognise long service for employees after six years.

Safety and wellbeing
Everyone should go home safe and well at the end of the day. Our dedicated Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing team continually improves our safety systems, training and support.
Everyone at Foleys is expected to speak up, identify risks and take responsibility for working safely. This is supported by site-specific planning, regular reporting and clear accountability at executive and board level.
Foleys holds SiteWise, IMPAC Prequalification and Tōtika credentials. We also provide relevant training for our tradespeople, including Site Safe and first aid training where required.

Developing skilled tradespeople
Apprenticeships
For more than 90 years, Foleys has invested in developing skilled tradespeople. Many of our leaders, supervisors and qualified tradespeople started their careers as apprentices.
Our apprenticeship programme combines hands-on experience with support from experienced mentors, giving apprentices the opportunity to learn their trade while working across a diverse range of projects and environments.
