Foleys Twizel - 30th Nov 2017

We're excited to welcome Foleys Twizel, formerly Duncan Plumbing and Drainage and Twizel Excavations into our family. This new branch will service Twizel, Tekapo, Mt Cook/Aoraki, Otematata or Omarama.

Mark and Moya Duncan have retired from the business but their 3 staff will continue as Foleys employees, with Brett Sheridan becoming the Branch Manager.

Here is the announcement from Mark and Moya that went to their customers:
We have sold our family business due to Mark's ill health, and will no longer be operating from 29th November.

Foleys have purchased the whole business operation from us and they are keen to ensure they create good relationships with existing customers, and will be working hard to keep everything consistent during the changeover.

Over the last 35 years, we have prided ourselves on offering our customers responsive, competent and excellent services throughout the areas of the Mackenzie and Waitaki Basin.

Our customers have been the most important part of the business and we have worked tirelessly to ensure they got complete satisfaction in all areas of our trades.

We sought out a buyer who really appreciates the business, understands how to operate it properly, and is keen and capable of providing the same high-quality service that our customers have come to expect.

The employees of our business Brett, Andy and Ben all support the sale and are positive about their future with Foleys.

Brett, who has served 17 years with Duncan Plumbing will become the new Branch Manager for Foleys in Twizel.  We thank him for his loyalty over these years and wish him the very best in his new position.

Kimberlee, who had stepped into the office role to assist Moya during the most difficult time of her father's health, will be free to pursue her other projects that have been waiting for her.

Mark will continue to be employed in Dunedin by Foleys, to assist in a smooth transition of the business takeover, and help with any advice required relating to any contracts.
