A letter to Foleys from The Wanaka / Mount Aspiring College 420 Team Sailing;
The Secondary Schools 420 Team Sailing Regatta was held from the 28th April to the 3rd May.
Mt. Aspiring College 420 Sailing Team, with Foleys financial help in the form of sponsored Team Hoodies, attended the regatta and came a creditable 5th place in the Bronze Fleet category.
The team managed to win 9 out of the 11 races sailed over the week, despite battling sickness and injury during the first couple of days of the regatta. After the first day of racing, where the winds were steady and challenging, the wind died down and became very light, leaving the sailors to “ hurry up and wait” for the wind for some of the regatta. Despite these conditions, the Wanaka team stayed positive and motivated throughout the regatta, gaining fantastic experience both on and off the water, surrounded by passionate members of the sailing community from around New Zealand: all our team members benefitted greatly from this wealth of experience and talent.

25th New Zealand Masters Games
Congratulations to Owen Craig ( who is one of our plumbers here at Foleys ) and his wife Susan they got placed 3rd in the Dancesport Modern Jive event at the 25th New Zealand Masters Games.
Susan will also be competing in the 5km, 10km and the half Marathon, Good luck Susan.
