Plumbing and drainage delivery in a live airport environment
Christchurch International Airport required the refurbishment and upgrade of bathroom facilities within the International Departures Lounge. Works included the delivery of new bathrooms, a parent room, and a prayer room.
Working alongside Naylor Love, Foleys delivered the plumbing and drainage scope within a live airport environment, requiring careful coordination around security protocols, restricted access, and noise limitations.
The project demanded a high level of planning to meet programme requirements ahead of peak travel periods, while accommodating evolving design requirements. Foleys worked closely with project partners to maintain progress and ensure seamless integration of services within a constrained environment.
