Gas maintenance and critical infrastructure support for Mercy Hospital
Foleys has supported Mercy Hospital with gas servicing and maintenance for a number of years, building a strong understanding of the hospital’s gas infrastructure and the services that rely on it.
Our role goes beyond responding to maintenance and callouts. While on site, our team considers the condition and performance of the wider system, identifying potential issues and working with the client to address them before they impact operations.
This approach came into play during an after-hours boiler fault. Foleys restored the gas supply after identifying the immediate issue as a Building Management System fault. While investigating, the team also identified significant deterioration in the hospital’s gas regulators.
Foleys worked with Mercy Hospital and the gas network provider to assess the issue and plan a staged replacement of the regulators.
The works-maintained gas supply to the hospital’s steam boilers, heating systems, sterilisation equipment, and commercial kitchen.
It is this understanding of the site, built over time, that allows Foleys to provide more than a reactive maintenance service. We know the infrastructure, understand what is critical to the client and can identify where action is needed to keep the facility operating.
